Unbelievably, the more proficient you are, the more effortlessly you can work, the more productive you become, and the more you can earn.

It is a fact. I’ve had the privilege of working with many amazing individuals, and they all follow the same routine.

Even if you want to follow some of these people, obtain a job at your favorite startup, or follow certain people on Twitter.

You will learn a lot.

Nitin, you didn’t discuss the addiction so far.

Okay, so let’s get going.

  1. Split your task into chunks

It works like a charm.

I’ve been using this strategy and breaking down my tasks into chunks for a few months now.

If I want to develop a website for one of my clients, I may divide the project into several weeks and then into several days. So, in a nutshell, I just have one day to concentrate on a few key concepts.

Because I work from 9–5, I divide my time accordingly. And it is finished without much stress.

You may do the same with your work.

2. Before going to bed, write out your next day’s task and celebrate when it is finished

Let me introduce myself, I am a programmer who works 9 to 5 and a technical content writer who writes on Medium.

And it’s not going to be easy.

When I get up every day, I have to freshen up, check some emails, and get ready for the meeting. And then there have some new tasks ready for me to complete.

So I have no chance of organizing my day and splitting my tasks.

What then is the remedy? Before going to bed, make a list of the next day’s tasks.

Let me provide you with an instance. Because I need to write an article, finish a job task, and attend a meeting. So I set aside time the day before for all three of them.

And when one work is accomplished, I mark it as completed and take a moment to fully enjoy it. It provides me with a lot more energy to get more things done.

3. Try to wake up early

Getting up early gives you extra time in the day. That is where you can be more productive, finish more tasks, earn more money, and have a better life.

It’s a lot tough for me.

I couldn’t do it a few years ago when I first started getting up early. The reason was simple: I was sleeping late at night, which I have taken into account.

But I was also a little tired when I got up, so that’s where I took a shower. It calms my mind and offers me the energy I need to finish the task.

If you don’t want to shower first thing in the morning, you can wash your face. It will even help you to wake up.

4. Spend one hour a day walking and exercising

I don’t care what you do on a daily basis.

It is usually ideal to begin your day with exercise and a walk in nature.

I’ve been doing this for a few years and it always helps me work harder and gives my body new energy. Surely, it will benefit both your physical and emotional well-being.

If you’re stuck for ideas, let me give you,

  • Get up early and walk outside(walk as much as you possibly can).
  • 10 minutes of meditation.
  • 5–10 minutes of breathing exercises, such as inhaling and exhaling.
  • And what you desired.

5. Eat healthily

I know you want to work hard and make more money, and the only way to do it is with the support of your body.

You need your body to be effective in anything you do, whether it’s mental or physical activity. And for that, your body needs a healthy diet.

Coffee, tea, alcohol, as well as junk food, will not make you healthy.

Nitin, I’m hooked on all of this stuff; how can I eat healthily? To be honest, you have to since your body needs a good diet to function properly.

To be honest, I don’t drink tea or coffee every day(maybe once a month), and I’ve never tried alcohol in my life. And as for junk food, maybe once a week or twice.

6. Don’t stop learning

Let me tell you, my job is quite tough; I have to work very hard and always learn something new.

As a result, my compensation has been increased several times more than yours, and when I quit my position, there are numerous firms that will recruit me with a higher income.

That is the power of acquiring new abilities. Whatever the globe is going through, be it a recession or a war, your abilities will always provide you an advantage over others.

So never stop learning.

I understand how difficult it is.

I’ve been waking up early for a couple of years and I’ve always wanted to stop, but I have some goals that can only be achieved if I am driven and a little bit disciplined.

Remember, if you have a big dream that you want to make a reality, you must make some minor sacrifices along the way, and this is what will make it achievable in the long run.

Also, I heard that it takes 21 days of consistency to form a new habit, and we’re doing it for a month. So you will undoubtedly be unrecognizable in 2023.

Hope you like it.

That’s it — thanks.
